Naming our Sculptures

While the names of the structures may seem unusual, or formal, what we’ve done to name things is this; If there is a common name that appears to fit the structure, we used that. (e.g., Bloom, cardboard, paper) If no common name fits, the name describes the mathematical underpinnings of the structure. (e.g., Rhombic Dodecahedron Skewed Hexagonal Column) These can get to be long – maybe we’ll have a naming contest later to see if we can get some help with them!
